Christian Money

What Does the Bible Say About Wealth?

The Bible does not treat every person with resources identically, but it repeatedly warns about greed, exploitation, pride, and trusting wealth as ultimate security.

Wealth creates responsibilities

Resources can expand a person's ability to provide, invest, give, and influence others. That makes stewardship and motives important.

Wealth is not proof of spiritual status

Material success should not be presented as evidence of greater faith, nor hardship as proof of spiritual failure.

Keep money in its proper role

Christian teaching places identity and ultimate trust somewhere other than financial status.
